In this healing time in my life, no beast would have meant more to me now than the elephant. A powerful animal, but so calm. His skin is so thick and rigid that nothing seems to be able to touch him. Its defenses are an armor that nothing can shake. It's wrinkled and cracked all over, but that's what makes it so beautiful.
